X Race

Welcome to Week Eight

On Saturday Miss Dickson, Graham, Janny, Sorro, Dee, Franck, Ilai and Caleb all took part in the X Race.

It was AMAZING! A really fun day out.

There were ten challenges that we had to complete and included a sack race, word challenge, obstacle coarse, skipping, painting our finger-nails and toe-nails and going down a mega water-slide!

Our times were posted on their Facebook page so go and check it out if you want to see how well we did. We also got given a medal after the race to celebrate our achievement.

Ripper Rugby Tournament

Today we had an awesome Ripper Rugby Tournament with our coach David.

Both of our teams made it into the finals and we played the two teams from Room 18 The Techno Tribe.

We tried our best to work with others and be persistent when we were playing.

It was a really great day for everyone.

Turtles Maths

WALT...Solve problems by trading 10 ones for 1 ten and 10 tens for 1 hundred.

Today the Turtles were learning all about place value and using materials to solve some subtraction problems.
