Term 1 Goal Reflection

WALT....Independently reflect on our progress in learning.

My goal for term 1 was to move up to level 3A by using more interesting words and writing stories at home.

I did not reach my goal for writing because I think I set it to high for me to achieve in one term.

Next time I set a learning goal I could improve by setting a lower goal and trying to take time in my work.

My learning goal this term was to move up to level 26 in reading.

I didn't reach my goal because  I didn't read a lot of books.

Next time I set a learning goal I could improve by trying a lot harder and try to read a lot of books.

My goal this term was to try to move back to level 30 in reading.

I was going to do this by reading my book at home and bringing my book bag every day.

I didn't reach my goal because i didn't read the whole book. 

Next time i will try to read the whole book and bring my book bag every day

My learning goal for term 1 was to move up to 3B in writing.
I was going to do that by putting adjectives in my writing.

I did not reach my goal because I did not focus on my goal properly.

Next time I know I will reach my goal next term because I will focus on using adjective in my writing.

My learning goal for term 1 was to move to level 31 in my reading.

I was going to do his by reading at home every day.

I reached my goal because I read a book for 15 minutes every day. 

I also tried to read 2 books every day and read books on my level.

Next time I could read more books and for a longer period of time.

My learning goal for Term 1 was to move up  from 3B to 3P. I was going to do this by using dictionaries, thesaurus and the internet to increase my vocabulary.

I reached my goal because I used dictionaries, thesaurus and the internent.

Next time I set a  learning goal I could improve by using more strategies in writing.
