In term 1 i

want to try my best to move up to level

25 in reading.

I did not reach my goal because I did not check for understanding when I read with Mrs Rosser.

Next time I could set a goal that I could improve 

in my reading.

This term my goal for reading was to move up to level 17.

I did not reach my goal  because I did not read at home.

Next time I set a goal I could improve by reading at home.

This term I wanted to move up level 18 in reading 

by reading at home. I did not reach my goal because I did not read my book at home. Next time I set a learning goal  I could improve by reading at home.

WALT...Independently reflect on our  progress  in  learning.

My learning goal was to move up to level 19 in reading.

My goal for writing was to move up to level 2A.

I did not reach my learning goal for writing and for reading because  I did not describe my writing very well and because I took books that are not from my book box.

Next time I set a learning goal I could improve on by making sure my writing makes sense and to use check for understanding properly.

WALT...Independently reflect on our progress in learning.

My learning goal for Term 1 was to move from level 30 to level 31in reading. My goal for writing was to move up from level 3P to 3A. I was going to do his by using ellipses and more describing words.

I did not reach my goal for reading because I did not inference well.

Next time I set a learning goal I could improve by focusing on my book properly and trying to remember all of the words that I read.

WALT... Independently reflect on our progress in learning.

My goal for Term 1 in reading was to move up from level 23 to 24 . I also wanted to move up to the third part of stage 5 and learn 3 strategies.

I didn't achieve my goal in reading because I wasn't spending enough time reading in read to self. In maths I did achieve my goal because I learnt  3 new strategies.

Next time I am going to focus on reading when
we read to self.

My goal for term 1 was to move up to level 3A by using more interesting words and writing stories at home.

I did not reach my goal for writing because I think I set it to high for me to achieve in one term.

Next time I set a learning goal I could improve by setting a lower goal and trying to take time in my work.
